I help organisations build data foundations that actually get used — modern platforms, clear ownership, and the enablement that makes adoption stick.

Platform thinker.
Technical depth.

I'm a data platform leader with 15+ years building the data foundations that organisations depend on to make decisions, manage risk, and scale their capabilities.

My background spans the full platform stack — ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance, and analytics — and I've spent the last several years operating at the intersection of platform architecture and product thinking.

At Commonwealth Bank I'm shaping platform strategy within a large-scale modernisation program — moving from legacy infrastructure to a modern cloud-native stack specifically to unlock data science and self-serve analytics. At Macquarie I owned end-to-end delivery of reusable data platforms across credit risk, market data, and compliance functions.

I think about data platforms the way product leaders think about products — with users, adoption, and outcomes at the centre, not just architecture and infrastructure.

Senior Manager — Enterprise Data Platforms
Platform strategy and product leadership within a $30M+ data modernisation program, with an explicit mandate to enable data science, ML, and self-serve analytics at enterprise scale.
  • Shaped the multi-year platform roadmap across ingestion, transformation and consumption layers — balancing engineering investment, team readiness, and data science demand
  • Led evaluation and selection of modern cloud-native stack (Snowflake, Iceberg, dbt) to replace legacy Teradata — chosen specifically to unlock self-serve and ML consumption patterns
  • Co-defined what a data product means for the organisation — designing the operating model that governs how products are built, owned, published, and consumed
  • Ran enablement programs helping business units adopt the data product model — translating platform capabilities into practical frameworks for non-technical stakeholders
